Interesting distinction between entertainment and art. Imagine that, a movie that reflects and informs rather than titillates. Our journalists seemed to have followed the same trend.
Not that a work of art cannot be an entertainment (after all, just look at this fabulous blog); but occasionally you do have these works -- like "Panic" -- which are art but not exactly entertainment. You've got to be in the mood for them, but it's a very good thing they're out there.
this was a fantastic movie. IFC picked it up recently and has been playing it. Always nice to see youngbloods at their prime. . Adrian Lester in Hustle, Pitt in Seven, and finally, Nighy in Still Crazy...
